ORLEANS

A Little Bit of NOLA. What began as a builder-grade room without a clear purpose is now a luxe lounge inspired by our clients' former home in New Orleans. We framed out the doorway and added a steel-and-glass door, which gives the room a defined sense of arrival while keeping it full of natural light. We then color-drenched the walls, ceiling, and trim in a deep plum brown, wrapping the space in a moody, enveloping warmth. Custom velvet drapery in rich gold, finished with a beaded black feather trim, adds contrast and a nod to the Crescent City's sense of drama. We reimagined the clients' existing credenza as a dry bar, adding a beverage fridge at its center and topping it with a black granite waterfall countertop. Above it, custom brass bistro shelving shows off a curated collection of spirits and objects. The result is refined enough for evening cocktails yet relaxed enough to watch the game with your feet up and a drink in hand.
